What we do

Engineering support for launching a physical product

Every engagement is built around one thing: you keep full ownership and visibility of the product at every step.

Technical feasibility review

We stress-test the idea, requirements, constraints and risks before you commit to a build — and lay out a clear, honest route to get there.

Circuit & product design

Architecture, schematics, PCB layout, firmware, component selection and enclosure — designed as one system in KiCad/Altium and documented well enough for any engineer, including yours, to pick up.

Prototype manufacturing

We build and test the first working unit in-house, find the weak points, and refine the design before it ever reaches a factory floor.

Production readiness

Specifications, BOMs, test procedures and packaging prepared and delivered to you, so the factory works from your paperwork.

Quality control & acceptance

Independent inspection of assembly, function, completeness, labeling and packaging before a single unit ships.

Shipping & logistics

We coordinate freight, customs paperwork and the final handover of your batch, wherever it's headed.

Process

How the work goes

A straight line from your task to a shipped batch — with a paper trail you keep at every stop.

Discovery

We define the product's purpose, operating conditions, timeline, budget and expected batch volume.

Engineering plan

We choose the architecture, key technical decisions, assess risk and shape the scope of work.

R&D & prototyping

We validate the design on a real prototype, test core functionality, and make adjustments.

Production readiness

Specifications, production files, assembly and test plans, packaging and acceptance criteria — reviewed with you and yours to keep.

Production launch

We coordinate the batch launch, factory communication and control of intermediate stages.

QC & shipment

We run acceptance checks, verify completeness and packaging, then hand the batch to logistics.

Formats

Wherever you are, we can join in

From idea validation to batch preparation and production control in China.

Just an idea

Have a product idea

We assess feasibility, constraints, architecture, risks and the next practical step.

Specced out

Have a technical spec

We clarify requirements, scope of work and readiness for development or production.

Working prototype

Have a prototype

We refine the device, documentation, assembly, testing and production requirements.

Shipping product

Have a finished product

We prepare it for release in China: strategy, adaptation, batch launch and acceptance.

Ready to scale

Need production organized

We take on batch preparation, factory communication, release, acceptance and shipment.

Pricing

What affects the price of an electronics project

Complexity

Circuit complexity, board layers, processors, radio, power levels.

Scope

Board only, or firmware, enclosure and documentation too.

Iterations

How many prototype rounds the design needs to be right.

Volume & compliance

Batch size, target cost per unit and certification needs.

FAQ

Electronics development — frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to develop an electronic device?
Costs range from a simple board to a complex multi-board product, so there is no single number. The main factors are the complexity of the circuit and the number of PCB layers, the processor and radio modules, whether firmware and an enclosure are included, how many prototype rounds are needed and the compliance requirements. We review your idea and give a fixed quote for a defined scope.
How long does it take to develop an electronic product?
A simple board can reach a working prototype in a few weeks; a complex device usually takes longer. Timing depends on complexity, the number of prototype iterations and the lead time of components and manufacturing. For example, one of our industrial Ethernet switches went from concept to a batch-ready design in four weeks. Mass production adds its own lead time on top.
Can you design a PCB or device from just an idea or sketch?
Yes. Many clients start with a sentence and a rough sketch. We assess feasibility, choose the architecture and components, and take the idea through schematic, PCB layout, firmware and enclosure to a working prototype.
What do I receive when the project is finished?
The full package: schematics, PCB layout and Gerber files, bill of materials (BOM), firmware source code, enclosure files, test procedures and assembly documentation — everything a factory or another engineer needs to continue.
What is the difference between a prototype, a pilot batch and mass production?
A prototype proves that the design works and is made in a few units. A pilot batch (typically tens to hundreds of units) checks that the product can be manufactured consistently and reveals production issues. Mass production is the full run, where the cost per unit is lowest. We help prepare and control all three stages.
Do you produce devices in China and what is the minimum order?
Yes, we organise production with manufacturers in China — PCB fabrication, assembly, testing, packaging and shipping — and check quality before shipment. Minimum quantities depend on the product and the factory: prototypes can be a handful of units and small pilot batches are possible. Tell us the volume you have in mind and we will plan around it.
Which microcontrollers and technologies do you work with?
We work with common platforms such as ESP32 and STM32, and with wireless (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 802.15.4), cameras, audio, power electronics and industrial networking, using KiCad and Altium. If you prefer a particular chip, we can build around it.
Can you improve or redesign a board I already have?
Yes. We can review an existing design, find weak points, reduce cost or add features, and prepare it for production. Send us the files or describe the problems you are seeing.
Do you help with certification such as CE or FCC?
Certification is carried out by accredited test laboratories. We design the product with the requirements in mind, prepare the documentation and the device for testing, and can support you through the process.
